Meet Teri! Teri is the sweetest, best pup! She’s an adorable 6 months old terrier mix! Although she is technically a puppy, Teri  is an old soul, and  often very docile and content. She is gentle and friendly, and great with kids, adults, and other dogs. At home Teri is mellow and often likes to rest. She especially enjoys cuddling on the couch in the evening or will sit in her bed in the kitchen. She loves to give and get kisses. Teri has a playful side too and enjoys rolling in the grass and running around a bit and finding things to chew on in the yard.

Teri is housebroken, but is primarily using the yard (she’s still figuring out she can relieve herself outside her own yard). Teri would benefit from typical puppy support and training (e.g., walking on a leash, jumping up when excited, etc.), but so far she is easily redirected and has been described as calm and mature for her age by those who meet her. Teri is fine in a crate, but is transitioning to a pen which she seems to prefer as she has more room to move around.

Teri is adjusting to new experiences including going on walks — she is getting better on the leash everyday. She is cautious and curious and takes her time exploring new places, though her confidence and comfort are growing. Teri really enjoys interacting with other dogs and would likely do well in a home with another dog, but would be good on her own too. While initially a bit shy, with minimal coaxing Teri gets excited when meeting other dogs and often wants to engage in play with them.

Teri’s foster family adores her and will be sad to see this close to perfect pup go, but they know there is a perfect family out there for her ready to love this friendly, affectionate, and well-mannered pup! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Teri is patiently waiting!
