Meet Somi!
Somi is an adorable 7 months old Shepherd/Hound mix! Her mom was rescued from a meat farm and was thankfully rescued before giving birth. She gave birth to a litter of healthy puppies including Somi and her 6 siblings. They have all been re-homed locally and now it’s Somi’s turn to find her forever home!
Somi is an adorable puppy. She is curious in her home and likes to explore via sniffing and licking EVERYTHING. Her favorite thing to do is to curl up on her foster parent’s patio and chew her toys in the sun. And every day, she likes to cuddle up with her foster parents and take her afternoon nap on the floor (with her legs up because she’s a total goofball).
She knows the basic command “sit” but is still working on her focus to learn others. She would do best in a home that has a yard so she can exercise her puppy energy and practice her leash work. While Somi is a naturally curious pup, she is often timid with strangers and tends to freeze on walks when she is faced with new dogs or people. But it’s something she is improving on every day!
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Somi is patiently waiting!
