Meet tiny Shiny! Donning the cutest pair white socks, Shiny is an adorable, almost 5 year old tiny sweetheart. Everyone thinks she is a super young puppy because of her adorable sweet face with her little tongue always sticking out.

Shiny is a little shy at first but warms up soon enough. She is very independent and resilient considering she was rescued from a horrible animal hoarding case just over a year ago. Weighing in at mere 19.8.lbs, she has the cutest Pomeranian-ish face and a long torso of a possibly a terrier and jindo mix.

Shiny is independent yet loving, not clingy and has no separation anxiety. She is very mellow indoors and sleeps most of the day, but will follow you around as soon as you’re up and about. She enjoys her daily walks and has the most energetic pep in her steps when she’s out on walks with her foster brothers.

Shiny is neutral around other dogs including 3 resident dogs who are 3 times and 5 times her physical size. She is not reactive to anything and doesn’t startle easily either and is house broken (no potty accidents in the house). We think she secretly enjoys loving attention and gentle cuddles from her humans as she sleeps on her foster pawrents’ bed nightly.

She loves food very much and can get too excited at times, but can easily be calmed down to take the treats gently. Despite her love for food, she has no food resource guarding issues and patiently waits her turns. Shiny is good on leash walks, doesn’t pull much, and if she does, a very gentle light tug will easily redirect her immediately.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Shiny is patiently waiting!
