Meet Sage! Sage is an adorable 2.5 years old Jindo mix! He’s a sweet boy who likes giving kisses. He is devilishly handsome that stops people on the street to compliment his cuteness. He is very athletic and playful and loves running and being outside. His dream would be to have access to a large space to run around in.⁣ With his skittish nature, Sage is looking for a Structured home with Experience in Dog Training.

Sage has been in training so far, he’s good at commands like Kennel, Sit, Down, Leave It, Place, Break, Stay, and Shake. He’s significantly improved at leash reactivity; he could stay neutral on the short leash under commands when passing other dogs in public. Sage’s not good at recall and has high prey drive, therefore he should NOT be off-leash in open space until he is continuously trained for recall and comes back when called.

He absolutely loves playing with other Jindos, Shiba Inus, Corgis, Australian Shepherds, and Japanese Spitz. As he grows older, he gets annoyed and nervous playing with over-enthusiastic dogs and large breeds. Sage is one of the quietest dogs you will ever meet, he doesn’t bark unless he sees danger. He sleeps through the night in his crate. Just like other Jindos, Sage is scared of water, so baths are not his favorite but he enjoys the towel-dry and rub afterwards.

Sage has a sensitive stomach, protein sources like Salmon, White Fish, and Lamb are certainly safe for him. He gets skin allergies from chicken and beef dog foods. His current diet is the mix of the Lamb Meal Dry Dog Food from Nature’s Logic and Lamb & Whitefish Air-Dried Dog Food from Only Natural Pet.

We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of the family. Sage is patiently waiting! ❤️⁣⁣
