Meet Sadie! Sadie is an adorable 3 year old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. Although Sadie is only 3 years old, she is an old soul who prefers to play for short periods of time, rest for long periods of the day, and will play in open fields/areas for as long as she can. She has an independent personality and although she is a Lab mix, she certainly has more Pyrenees traits.  Her fosters often joke that she is like living with a big cat!

Sadie will come over when she wants pets or attention, but only seeks that out on her own schedule. She rarely greets her fosters at the door when they return, preferring instead to wait for them to come find her.

When the weather is nice (not raining), Sadie likes to split her time between indoors and outdoors, where she thinks she is guarding the home.  She can often be seen sunning on the grass or laying where the sun shines the most.  She travels very well in the car, easily transitions to using a crate when needed, and loves going to dog parks or other homes with dogs.

The ideal home for Sadie would be with other dogs and some open space where she can use her Pyrenees watchdog skills. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Sadie is patiently waiting!
