Sadie

Meet Sadie! Sadie (fka Say) is an adorable 9 months old Jindo/shepherd mix cutie pie who looks like a miniature German shepherd. She is one of 10 puppies born to a mom dog rescued last minute from being euthanized in the city shelter in Korea and was fortunate to be fostered at the same home along with her mom for the first few months of her life until coming to the US so is amazingly well-socialized and well-adjusted living with humans.
Sadie has never had an accident in the house, walks great on leash, and is great with other dogs and people of all sizes. She has unusually low prey drive for her breed background, however, she is not cat tested. Sadie gets a little nervous in the car ride but does not drool or get car sick, and so far has had no problem doing one hour+ one way drive, which she’s been on a few times already. She does great in public settings. She is very gentle in taking treats and is great with strangers. Sadie does bark when people pass by the house but can be quieted down. She is smart, lovable, and insanely cute, and is treat motivated. Currently she knows how to sit, and occasionally does shake and high fives. Sadie is a great pleasure on leash walking, she does not pull much at all; she is curious but does not insist or is persistent having her ways at all. Sadie has no problem going potty in the backyard but loves her daily walks and playtime with the all the resident dogs.
Sadie is a great companion dog and her forever family would feel like they’ve hit a jackpot adopting her. She would be good for first time dog owners but also would be an excellent addition as a second dog as well. Ideal home would be a loving home with someone who spends a lot of time at home, who understands the lifetime commitment to raising her as a true member of the family and set her up to succeed for the rest of her lifetime. Sadie is patiently waiting!
