Rose
Meet Rose! Rose is a sweet, loving, sassy baby-giant mastiff mix girl. She was born in a dog-meat slaughterhouse in Korea, and was rescued with 20 other puppies, in the “golden time” before she witnessed any atrocities. Most of the rest of the 21 puppies have found homes – and Rose wants to be next on the list!
Rose is a happy-go-lucky puppy who loves life and everyone she meets! She is highly food motivated and smart. She plays well with other dogs, and loves to wrestle and chase. She doesn’t chase her foster-cat sibling, and will gently play if the cat initiates. She does well in the crate at night, and is fine being left alone for a couple of hours. She is house trained, and does well on a leash (as long as there are treats in your pocket!) She loves to cuddle, and her secret “off button” is scratching the very top of her head. She melts into a little puddle of squishy puppy snuggles!
Rose would thrive in a home with another large dog. She can sometimes be a little pushy with other dogs, so she will need someone who can give her constant socialization, and help her keep up her good manners. She would be great with a semi-active family, who likes to go on adventures around town, and expose her to new and interesting things to learn.
Rose is currently being fostered in Sacramento. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy as a member of their family. Rose is patiently waiting!
