Meet Roni! Roni is an adorable 5 year old Terrier mix. He was picked up as a stray and luckily was rescued from the shelter he was dropped at. He has a friendly personality and is very sweet! Roni is good with other dogs and loves to play although can be a bit pushy at times when other dogs don’t want to play with him. Roni is an extremely sweet, affectionate and confident boy. He loves following his foster family around the house and cuddling on the couch. When he meets new people he warms up very quickly and will be rolling over looking for a belly rub 30 seconds after meeting someone. Roni is always excited to play with you and loves his chew toys, balls and taking walks, and has moderate to high energy.
Roni is very good in his crate and has no separation anxiety. In the house he’s well behaved and is good at responding to tone of voice and picking up on the rules. Although he doesn’t know too many commands yet he is great at sit and shake, and he’s working on lie down, and since he’s food motivated and eager to please he loves to practice.
He will bark when he hears loud noises outside and at other dogs if they get too close when he’s on leash, but he is good off leash and loves the dog park, especially if you’ll throw a ball around for him.
Roni would do great in an active household that can give back all the love he wants to give. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Roni is patiently waiting!
