Meet Poppy! Poppy is an adorable 2 year old Shiba Inu. She is an extremely smart, sweet and friendly girl! For a Shiba, she is extremely affectionate and loves to put her head in your lap so that you can rub her head. She loves to lay down on the bed next to you while you lay down. Poppy is fantastic with kids and extremely patient, allowing them to hug on her and handle her in all sorts of situations. She fetches balls, comes when called, and understands sits, down, place, and will hold at thresholds. She is a little mouthy when she gets excited and does like to chew, so needs to be redirected to appropriate chew toys. Overall, Poppy is an outgoing and friendly dog who will make a great companion to someone with the love she deserves.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Poppy is patiently waiting!
