Meet Po (aka Pongdang)! Po is an adorable 1 year old Jindo mix. He was a stray on the west side of Jeju, South Korea. One day he moved to a village and was starting to be noticed by many people around May 2021, and he was rescued by a couple with a Jindo dog. They have been fostering him since!

When he was rescued he had skin issues that were cleared and likely cause by malnutrition. Now that he’s in a foster home, his skin has been cleared! Po is very docile and calm. He can be a crybaby especially at the vet but he is not handful, he has a more easy going character. Po does not ask for time and attention, but certainly enjoys it! He has his independent side like many Jindos.

Po is smart and he a quick learner especially with treats! He can do “sit” “lay down” “Wait” and “Paw” . He loves to play with other dogs! He likes to play tug with his dog friends. Po prefers “soft” treats. Po can fit in any types of families with kids/dogs or without kids/dogs. But he is still young and has puppy energy outdoor. So an active family who will regularly take him out would be best. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Po is patiently waiting!
