Meet Pika! Pika was rescued from a puppy mill during a rescue raid with multiple rescue organizations when notice was brought about a puppy mill with severely neglected dogs. Pika was fortunately one of the lucky ones that made it out alive and has since gotten a clean bill of health. Pika is under-socialized from her life locked in a cage at the mill but you can tell she really wants love and affection! Pika will need a savvy and patient home willing to give her the time she needs to open up. Pika can react from fear if grabbed without notice from strangers or men she finds intimidating. She is very loving otherwise and would thrive in a quiet home that would not leave her for extended period of time. We are looking for a home that will continue to show Pika what is means to be in a family. Pika is patiently waiting!
