Meet Papa, a funny, goofy, smart, and energetic 6-month old Jindo mix! Papa is incredibly sweet and will brush up on your leg like a cat to say hello. Papa enjoys playing with his little sister Mimi and foster sister Buyu, who are fostered in the same home. Papa is a big sweetie pie. When Mimi and Papa were first introduced in the foster home in Burlingame, Papa would come to Mimi’s aid when Mimi would whine upon being approached for leashing. Papa showed no aggression and to this day still has not- Papa simply stood between Mimi and the foster parent with big puppy eyes. Now, Papa enjoys cuddles and attention.

At the dog park or in the yard, Papa loves to prank and sneak up on his little sister from the bushes to get her to play. He will also try this on other small dogs belonging to the foster’s extended family. Yet, he is also gentle and knows to stop if the other dogs don’t want to play. Papa loves playing with other dogs once he gets to know them and will do best in a home with an active playmate, like his sister. Papa is a big goof. He loves squeaky toys that can fit in his mouth and enjoys squeaking them around the house for fun. Papa will bury excess treats in the yard to hide it from the other dogs, so no need to over-treat so his treats don’t end up dirty if your home has yard access.

Papa is enthusiastic about getting in and out of a car to go to new places! He is so behaved anywhere he goes.

Papa has been around reserved 6 and 7 year-olds, and does not mind them. Papa is shy around adult men for the first few days, but once he is familiar with you Papa becomes incredibly sweet and playful. Papa is not a picky eater and eats all sorts of treats and kibbles. Papa is treat motivated and observant, making him an ideal candidate for learning all sorts of tricks! Papa mimicks his foster sister Buyu for treats.
