Meet Opi! Opi is the ultimate social butterfly with a heart that bursts with love for humans and fellow canines alike. Her charismatic nature ensures that anyone who meets her is sure to fall head over heels in love! Opi’s story begins in Seongju, Gyeongbuk, where she was rescued from a Bichon puppy mill that was part of a distressing cycle of abuse. Thankfully, our rescue partner and other rescue organizations stepped in to save over 240 dogs, with Opi being one of the fortunate 21 to escape this harsh reality. Now, she’s safe and awaiting a new chapter with a caring family who understands the patience and love needed to nurture a puppy mill survivor.

Here’s a little more about Opi:

– Opi adores human company. Her charming personality makes her an excellent companion, ensuring you’ll never feel lonely as long as she’s around.

– Friend to All Dogs: Whether it’s a shy pup or an energetic playmate, Opi is there to spread her cheerful spirit. She is exceptionally good at making friends and keeping the peace among her canine companions.

– Health Care Post-Lithotripsy: Opi has recently undergone lithotripsy to treat kidney stones. She’s doing well, but she will need continued attention to prevent future issues, including monitoring her diet and hydration.

– Opi is still mastering the use of pee pads, but she’s showing great progress and is sure to get the hang of it with a little more practice. – Opi loves company so much that she sometimes whines when left alone although she soon stops. This can further lead to separation anxiety, and your understanding approach and training might be needed.

– To support her health, Opi would appreciate nutritious diets, tailored to maintain her kidney health and overall well-being. The lithotripsy was successful, and she hasn’t shown any adverse reactions due to kidney stone to date, though! Opi’s journey has been filled with love and recovery, and now she’s looking for a forever home where she can continue to flourish and spread her joy. If you’re looking for a furry friend who will brighten every day and cherish your companionship as much as you cherish hers, Opi is waiting for you.
