Meet Nana! Nana was rescued from the shelter before her time ran out, poor Nana was dumped when her owners no longer wanted her. Thankfully rescuers were able to get her out and to the vet for a full check up.

She is a sweet girl who loves attention. She simply demands your pets and belly rubs! Nana is protective of her things and owner, so we recommend her to be the solo dog in her forever home. While toys and food may appeal to her, human companionship and affection is her most favorite thing. Nana is surprisingly vocal — she barks frequently when excited or following you around the house — she even howls sometimes when excited or receiving belly rubs. She enjoys laying in the sun, or just hanging out in the yard. Nana has a very relaxed demeanor when the humans are busy and will tend to just lay down and sleep peacefully.

Nana would love nothing more than to find a forever home, she would thrive in a breed savvy home willing to show her what it means to be part of a family. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog, Nana is patiently waiting!
