Meet Nana! Nana is an adorable 3-4 year old Corgi! This sweet girl was rescued from a puppy mill where she was kept in a rusted cage all her life and expected to produce puppies repeatedly. Nana went through a lot but is still very affectionate and loves attention. Since being rescued, she is learning what it’s like to live in a home environment. She loves people and will always stay close to her fosters.

Nana is very sweet, but is still learning how to potty outside as well as how to walk on a leash. When the leash is on, she gets scared to walk or will try to bite the leash. With more time and consistency, we are sure she will learn to love going on walks! Nana doesn’t know how to play with toys yet but does show interest. She is also slowly learning how to lay on a dog bed, she usually prefers the hardwood floor.

Nana is good with other dogs, but will be best as the only dog in the home. She does have slight resource guarding around her space when she’s sleeping and food with other dogs. Aside from that she does fine with other dogs, but hasn’t shown interest in playing yet.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Nana is patiently waiting!
