Meet Nadia! Nadia is an adorable 6 months old FMD/Lab mix! Nadia is a goofy, playful, smart, and a snuggle bug. She’s still very mischievous and curious about everything. Very smart, she keeps you on your toes. She’s been caught opening the fridge to steal food, figuring out how to get to high places to get more food. But then she does the funniest things like get her face stuck in a boot because she needs to smell what’s going on to tripping over her own feet and doing a triple roll because she’s so excited you’re home.
She’s a puppy, so this stage will calm down with time but her ideal home will be someone who will challenge her mind because she is a smart dog and gets bored easily. But also nurture her because she is still kinda shy and scared of the outside world. She will look to you if something is safe or not, be hesitant of strangers but it doesn’t take her long to open up. Very food motivated, so she will be very easy to train.

What is so loving about her though is she does want your time and affection. If you’re on the couch, she doesn’t want to sit next to you for pets, she wants to curl up in your lap and sleep. Loves her tummy rubbed and snuggles, she really will bond with her humans.

She does love to walk and gets excited for the park. She loves little dogs and plays very well with them. Big dogs she will be intimidated by at first but after watching for a few mins, she will start to play as well.
Nadia would do very well with a family with kids or a couple who will have a lot of time with her. She does not favor one foster parent over the other and wants attention from both. So to have a couple people around her will be ideal. She loves her foster brother, so another dog to play with and learn from would be great. Or puppy play dates would be wonderful!
Whoever adopts her though will feel nothing but blessings. Especially with those big brown eyes look at you with such love and affection. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Nadia is patiently waiting!
