Meet Micheal! Michael’s journey began when he was abandoned on the side of a highway at just 3 months old. It was a chance encounter when the rescuer brought him some food, and from that moment, he chose to follow the rescuer home, often waiting outside her door. Michael was in poor health, with evident signs of illness, including hair loss on his ears. The situation was further complicated by threats from the rescuers neighbors, who considered him a disease risk and wanted to poison him. The rescuer was able to get him to the vet and fortunately, the diagnosis wasn’t as dire as it seemed, and with proper care, he began to recover.

Michael is a bundle of joy with young dog energy, always ready for exciting adventures. His passion for exploring, his playful interactions with other dogs, and his fondness for cats make him the perfect companion for any family. Outdoor activities, like strolls and beach trips, are some of Michael’s absolute favorites. This zest for outdoor fun means he would flourish in a home with a backyard where he can run and play. If you’re looking for an a affectionate addition to your family, Michael is the ideal furry companion. Futhmore, Michael’s strong motivation revolves around food. He takes great delight in earning his snacks and becomes highly enthusiastic during training sessions, especially when his favorite reward is food! This keenness for food-based rewards makes him a responsive learner, making him an ideal candidate for training and a wonderful companion for those who value the power of treats in teaching new skills.

We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Micheal is patiently waiting for a home to call his own!
