Meet Mia! Mia was a very fearful puppy who needs a quiet home in the suburbs. She grew up in SF, but te busy sounds of city life did not help her early months. Once she moved to the suburb with other dogs, she became more confident and less fearful.

Mia is a very sweet dog. She has never shown any aggression towards any humans or other dogs/animals. She does not resource-guard. Her demeanor is simply very sweet! Mia does well on a leash but can use some fine-tuning. She is house-trained, knows basic commands, is great in long car-rides, and is very food motivated.

The ideal home for Mia would be in a quiet neighborhood/environment with a patient owner. Having another dog around makes her more comfortable, but it’s not quite as critical as when she was a puppy (as long as the home is willing to work on Mia’s confidence without another dog to help). She’s truly such a good girl and has so much love to give. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family.
