Meet Maya! Maya is an adorable 5 year and 6 months old Collie/FMD mix. She is a bundle of joy. She’s a very loyal dog, who loves attention. Maya’s very protective of her human family. In fact, according to a dog trainer, she “believes she’s human”. She loves taking pictures with her family and adores going on car rides. She has a strong personality and will do better in a home with no other pets, where she’ll be fully loved. She’s also a bit of a loner, preferring to be by herself instead of mingling with other dogs. She doesn’t care for dog toys and isn’t a huge fan of water. She loves to go on walks. She is smart and knows a few commands: sit, stop, wait, paw.

Maya deserves to be with a family that will give her all the love and attention she needs. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Maya is patiently waiting!
