Meet Mattie! Mattie is a favorite of her rescuer and foster parents. She is an adorable French Bulldog that was confiscated, while pregnant, from an illegal breeder in San Jose. Mattie is now a proud mama of 5, having her litter in June 2022. We estimate her age to be 2-3 years old. And, she is now available for adoption!
Mattie is housebroken with a doggie door and crate trained. Although small, she is mighty and ready for major zoomies before bedtime. She loves her toys and will throw them in the air while doing . . . pirouettes, no less! Mattie loves to snuggle in your lap, in your bed, anywhere you’re willing to indulge her. Her underbite is one of the things that makes her so lovable. It’s hard to resist!
Unfortunately, she was debarked by the breeder, but that does not change her personality: she is ALL Frenchie and ready for a forever home. If you are not familiar with the breed, please do some research before applying.
Mattie will require good fencing in her yard, as she has been known to join efforts with neighboring dogs and tunnel under the fence for visits. She scales fences higher than you would think for her size, so a short patio or balcony fence will not be sufficient to curb her curiosity.
Mattie is being fostered in Pleasanton. We are looking for the perfect home for Mattie. She is patiently waiting for a home that understands her breed and the quirks that are unique only to Mattie. She is patiently waiting!
