Meet Martin! Martin is an adorable 3 year old miniature Poodle who was rescued from a meat farm in South Korea. Martin was likely sold when his owner did not want him anymore but regardless of the past Martin does not have it ruin his sweet temperament towards people. Martin is an affectionate little guy who loves nothing more than to sit on your lap and get all the love he could get. Martin loves everyone he meets and wants to be around his people all the time, this means he does have some mild separation anxiety so will need a patient home who would not leave him for extended periods. Martin loves to cuddle in bed with his people and sleeps well through the night.
Martin can be mischievous and is able to jump pretty high. This means potential homes should be aware of food on the table or to put away things he can reach. Martin is a foodie and loves all treats! Something to be cautious about is that Martin can be a door dasher, so a gate at the doorway would be ideal to prevent flight risk. Martin is good with other dogs but will bark at dogs being too rowdy. He is currently in a foster home with many dogs of all sizes and he co-exist well with them but should always be fed separately.
The ideal home for Martin would be a home where he won’t be left alone for extended periods. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Martin is patiently waiting! 💕
