Look at this pretty red brindle girl! Luca is an adorable 5 year old Jindo/Corgi mix. She is a sweet, tender soul.  She loves affection but is timid. It takes her a while to warm up, but treats are the way to her heart.  It took her about 5 days to really show her true personality to her foster mom, but now she is a wiggling bundle of joy when she greets her foster mom. She is fine with dogs but does not really engage with them.  She is content to coexist.  She would be fine as an only dog, or as a second dog in a home with a dog of similar size and energy level.  She might even be good in a home with a cat.  She likes to go for walks and explore, so she will need a home that takes her on regular walks/hikes.  this helps her with her confidence.  She does like to chase squirrels but can be redirected.  She will need basic obedience training, but that will be a good bonding experience with her new forever family.

Luca’s foster mom thinks the ideal home for her would be with a single person or a couple, who want a little companion dog for adventures and daily walks.  She does well in the car and is very polite in public.  She stays close to her foster mom’s side.  Luca also does well at home by herself.  She loves her crate and is content to sleep throughout the day, but when her foster mom comes home, Luca is ready for some quality time. Luca is patiently waiting!
