Meet Lizzo! Lizzo is an adorable 3 year old English Bulldog. She was found by Animal Services in Antioch, who believed she was abandoned by an underground dog breeder after a botched DIY c-section.  She needed about a month of recovery in the shelter and is now adjusting well in a foster home.

Lizzo is ready to love and be loved, are you? She had a rough last few months but is 100% ready to put all of that behind her and find her forever home.

Lizzo loves walks but only needs two a day, one in the morning and one around 4/5 pm. One more potty break before bedtime.  She would love a home with a yard since she can be a little picky about finding that perfect potty spot on a walk.  She does not have any issues on leash and loves meet n greets in the neighborhood, with dogs and people.  Especially loves ALL PEOPLE.

She would be great in a family with kids because she loves to be in the mix of lots of home activity. That being said she hasn’t been kid tested yet with young babies or children, but was very patient when a 10 year old was trying to help her pick out her upcoming halloween costume.

Lizzo loves the park, road trips and Target, basically anywhere there will be people for her to say hi to.

Lizzo is housebroken and seems to just catch up on beauty sleep when left home alone (not crate trained).  She has not yet been left home alone for a long day.

Because she only has vision in one eye, and since she is new to city life, she gets a little nervous by random noises and shapes.  We found out she does NOT like the sound of boggle dice, so if you have weekly boggle tournaments at your house, she might not be your girl.

Lizzo is super playful with dog toys, balls and stuffies.  She can’t wait to show you that bulldogs aren’t just for loud naps on the couch.

Lizzo took a DNA test and turns out she is 100% that love bug: will you make her yours today?! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dgog as a member of their family. Lizzo is patiently waiting!
