Meet Lexi! Lexi is the sweetest, most adorable lap dog with the most gorgeous piercing blue eyes you’ve ever seen! Don’t let her RBF/grumpy cat face fool you because she is one hell of a cuddle bug, who loves being petted and hugged.

Lexi is much smaller in person than what she appears to be in her pictures. She loves to be petted by everyone she meets, women, men, kids alike, even the vet and vet techs, and is playful around other dogs with just the right amount of energy level.

She is independent but also does well around other dogs including 3 resident dogs and a house guest dog(s) at the current foster. She has no toy or food resource guarding issues.

Lexi is great at the vet for a checkup, at the groomers for her nail clipping, and was excellent riding in the car!

She is very gentle in taking treats and is very food motivated.  Currently she knows how to sit, and high fives and decent recall, especially with treats.

Lexi does not pull much at all when walking; she may be curious about all the gopher holes but is easily redirected to keep on walking. She has no problem going potty in the backyard but loves her daily walks and sunbathing in the yard.

Lexi is truly a dream come true for someone who is looking for a fluffy, mini-teddy bear companion dog.  She does shed like a husky, but a daily brushing helps a lot.

Lexi would be good for anyone or family who is willing to give a lot of tender loving care.  The ideal home would be a loving home with someone who spends a lot of time at home,  who understands the lifetime commitment to raising her as a true member of the family and set her up to succeed for the rest of her lifetime. Lexi is patiently waiting!
