Meet Lena! Lena was rescued from a puppy mill along with 6 other poodles when they were found crowded in a cage that hung over a ditch. All the dogs were extremely emaciated when rescued and covered in fleas and ticks. Poor Lena spent all her life in a filthy cage getting bred as a source of funding. Lena is a sweet girl who can be shy at first but opens up quickly. Lena can be hand shy due to getting beaten by the breeder and was debarked. Lena and the other dogs were fed own rotted leftovers so they had very bad dental and after dental surgery she only has 2 teeth left. Lena would need a home that can feed her high grade soft food due to this. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Lena needs a patient home that is able to continue working with her and showing her the world is not a scary place. Lena is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
