Meet Kaylee! During a two-day clash in Ipae-dong, Namyangju, an abandoned dog farm stood right next to the notorious dog auction/slaughterhouse. Over two rainy days of intense dispute between the Dog Meat Association and our rescue partner, activists found three shivering dogs in the facility’s outdoor area. Unaware of the turmoil around them, these dogs were fortunate enough to be discovered amidst the chaos, subsequently escaping the distressing conditions of the slaughterhouse, and finding refuge with the activists.

Among them is a 7-year-old Shiba mix. We can only guess the series of unfortunate events that brought this dog to this notorious place. Equally perplexing is the backstory of the other pups Kaylee and Kerry held captive here. Despite their bleak past, our rescue partner is committed to a mission of hope. We aim to provide these dogs with necessary medical treatment, protective care, and facilitate adoption opportunities to these dogs a chance for a better future. Behavior / personality: Playful puppy, loves getting attention from her caretakers and plays well with other dogs. Especially enjoys playing with toys together with her sibling Kerry. Currently eating kibble and occasionally drinking goat milk.

Kaylee is now ready to find his forever home. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a pup. Kaylee is patiently waiting!
