Meet Joy! Joy was rescued from a horrific abuse and neglect situation where she was very lucky to be alive. Joy’s previous owner threw her off a 4-story building and she fortunately landed in a tree and survived! This sweet girl did not let her traumatic past keep her from being the same sweet girl she is today. Joy is a total joy!

From the first day after arriving from Korea, she had the confidence to explore her new surroundings.  She’s curious but cautious, food motivated so she’d be easy to train with, and she just wants to be happy with you.  She has easy temper and enjoys her bath, grooming, and massages – quite a girly girl!  But she can probably outrun any fast dogs when she’s fetching her favorite toy or playing chase with her foster bro.  Joy takes training well and is a quick learner.  She’s the perfect fur buddy to go hiking with or just snuggling on the couch!

Joy would love an active family where she can be an integral member.  This girl has a lot to give in spite of being abused and almost lost her life.  If you meet her, you’ll fall in love with her! We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog, Joy is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
