Meet Joanne! Joanne is an adorable 2 year and 4 months old Jindo mix. She is a sweet, snuggly, loving, loyal, happy girl when she is with her trusted people. She loves her walks, loves squirrels, and loves stealing her foster mom’s socks! She gets so excited when her foster mom comes home, and has to jump and kiss, and tries to give hugs with her little doggie-feet.

Joanne is great with dogs bigger than her. She is mostly house trained, although occasionally she chooses to use a pee-pad rather than go outside. She is good on leash (except when she sees a squirrel)!  It takes her a little while to get comfortable with new people, and she can be nervous at seeing people outside – but once she warms up she is your best friend! Joanne is still learning how to play with toys, and would love to have someone help her explore all the fun things the world offers.

Joanne would do well in an active family, and even could learn to be a jogging companion! She is afraid of young kids, so would do best in an adult home (or with older kids). She would love to have a doggie companion her size or bigger. She hasn’t been tested with cats.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Joanne is patiently waiting!
