Meet Haneul! Haneul is the cutest 5-year-old Maltese mix from Korea. He is now living in a foster home in South Bay, getting used to the US. He loves nothing more than to curl up into a ball on the carpet next to you. He rarely barks, shows no interest whatsoever in chewing anything up, and loves to just hang out around you. If you are in another room, he will come check up on you, make sure you’re doing okay, and go back to his dog bed. Although he is wary of strangers, he will warm up to anyone very quickly and lick your hand. He is potty-trained and crate-trained—he loves to explore and smell all bushes and will sleep through the night in his crate. He knows the commands sit and wait in Korean and is learning command “house.” He also loves treats!Just because of how easily he bonds with people, Haneul has some separation anxiety when left alone. He needs a loving family who will work with him through the separation anxiety, and he will eventually learn that someone will always come home and shower him with love that he deserves.
