Meet Gosari! Gosari is a very sweet, extremely mellow 5.5 month old fluff puppy. She is snuggly, and will fall asleep if you put her on your lap and stroke her extremely soft head. She also loves belly rubs. She is playful in the mornings and evenings, and will sleep all day otherwise unless she is around other dogs. Gosari is smart and treat-motivated, so she will be easy to train…except that sometimes she hesitates to come near you when you have treats in your hand, especially if she thinks you might bathe her, but she will hold still for a bath. She is pretty good responding to “here” and is learning leash training very quickly.
Gosari is very friendly with other dogs and will play in a healthy way, taking breaks when she is tired. Because she is so social, she might do best in a home with other dogs or with a family that gets her together with other dogs daily. She has been playing with up to 6 neighborhood dogs, almost all bigger, daily and is good with her foster’s mature dog. She is fine with her foster’s cat and doesn’t chase her, but has a high prey drive for other cats, birds and squirrels, that can be challenging on walks. She gets tired quickly on long hikes or outside play dates. Her fluffy, soft coat needs daily brushing. She is a barker and howler, but won’t bark all day. She will be a great, affectionate and loyal dog for a family who will put in the work to train her well and create the right mixture of exercise and relaxation. She’s mellow, not an excitable puppy.
