Meet Gaya! Gaya is an adorable 2 year old Border Collie mix. Gaya was found as a stray and picked up by a lady who had been bringing abandoned dogs home and raising them. Last December she was taken to a mental hospital and all the dogs needed rescues. Gaya was one of 11 dogs rescued from the case.
Gaya is a gentle and sweet girl. She’s good good on the leash and is very affectionate. She had surgery because her back leg’s muscle had a problem, she is now very healthy. Consciously, she tries not to use her hind legs. We are working with her in exercising so she can gain more leg muscles. Gaya adapts very well in new environments. She is great with other dogs and good with children.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Gaya is patiently waiting!
