Meet Falcor (aka Baba)!🐶 He is an adorable 2 year old Jindo mix. He had a rough start in life and due to his history is cautious of new people. Because he is cautious we would not recommend him for a family with small kids. His best match would be a single person or couple with another dog and yard.

Falcor was rescued from a meat farm in Korea where he lived his life in kennels or crates with other dogs, his own filth, and no human contact other than rough handling. When he arrived here he was using a crate but his foster realized he was territorial of the crate and would growl when he feels cornered.  Once the crate was removed, he relaxed more.

In two weeks in foster he went from a guarded, frightened pup, to a relaxed and inquisitive pup. We can see that with time and training he will be a loyal companion. He still takes things slow but will come to his name, seeks his foster family out for petting, treats, cuddles on the couch and nose bumps.

Falcor is great with other dogs! He loves to play and run and takes cues from his foster sibling. He is potty trained and doggie door trained. He needs more practice walking on a leash and is learning simple commands.

We are looking for a patient, dog experienced home who understands that Falcor needs time to gain confidence in himself and learn that the world is not a scary place. Falcor is fostered in Dublin, CA and patiently waiting to meet his fur-ever family! 💕
