Meet Eddie! Eddie is an adorable 2 year old Sapsali mix. He was one of three dogs roaming together around the tourist attractions in KyungJoo, the capital city of an ancient kingdom “ShilLa” located in the southern part of Korea Peninsula. All three dogs were captured and admitted to the KyungJoo City Pound, where they stayed until they were rescued in April.

Eddie is a very handsome young guy. He is fun, pleasant, confident, independent, and strong willed. Eddie is friendly with people and independent. He can be a bit stubborn at times and listens to you if there is something he wants (usually treats). Otherwise he has selective hearing. Eddie still carries emotional baggage from his time as a stray on the streets. He avoids people if he thinks something bad might happen.

He is friendly with dogs. He plays very well with all types of dogs. He does have some resource guarding around dogs and food. This is likely a way of survival he learned as his time as a stray. Because of this, his home will need to feed him separately from other dogs and to not leave out high value treats/chews with him and other dogs.

Eddie will do well in any type of home, but will be great with an active family who enjoys outdoor activities. He loves his walks! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of his family. Eddie is patiently waiting!
