Meet Dottie! Dottie is a goofy, enthusiastic, loving, 8-month old puppy-girl. Her favorite hobbies are giving kisses, rolling with her belly up, and walking between your feet to chew on your ankles. Dottie is full of love, and if you are looking for a sweet bundle of joy to make your heart complete, she’s your girl! Dottie was born in Mexico. Her mama was a street-dog, and nobody in that neighborhood had compassion for her. She was full of parasites, and starved herself to death, trying to nourish her babies. Dottie and one littermate are the only ones that survived, after their rescuer found them.

Dottie is a Mystery Surprise Box of breed – she is definitely part Mexican Village Dog, mixed with who knows what! Dottie is house trained, doesn’t chew stuff up (much), and doesn’t bark (much). She’s good on leash, although she does try to play while she’s walking. She’s great in the car, and wants to ride shotgun. She loves kids, and would do best in a home with kids older than toddlers. (She can be too enthusiastic for little ones.) She loves other dogs, and plays well with teeny ones and giant ones. (She might be too enthusiastic for an older dog.) She would thrive in a home with another young or energetic dog, or with an active person or family. Dottie is patiently waiting for her forever home!
