Meet Danaynay! Danaynay is an adorable 2 year old Corgi/Terrier mix. She is a sweetheart. It can take her a few weeks to open up, but if she has a safe quiet space to decompress she’ll build up her confidence at home. She will show you tender affection.
Danaynay feels safest sleeping under her foster’s bed but will sometimes join her and the other dogs on top of the bed in the early morning. At first, it took some coaxing for her to leave her safe spot under the bed but her joy for the outdoors eventually trumped her fears. Her foster home has a backyard so she can rest in the shade but she prefers to stay under the bed during the day. Danaynay is a mellow dog, but she does get revved up when she hears her foster get the leash. She’ll excitedly cry for her to hurry on up.Danaynay would do best in a home that can take her on at least two daily walks would be ideal, bonus points if you can take her to a dog park where she can walk alongside you and explore smells in the grass and gopher holes. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Danaynay is patiently waiting!
