Meet Dalmi! This poor puppy was having a really hard time at the shelter because he suffered from scabies but couldn’t get the proper medical treatments. Thankfully rescuers got to him before his time ran out and was able to give him the proper medical attention needed. He is now a healthy puppy and free of scabies!

Dalmi is such a sweet little guy! He is shy and timid at first when meeting new people, but after a couple days his playful personality started to come out. He’s a very curious pup who loves to investigate and sniff everything. He loves going out for walks and wants to play with every dog he sees. He does get easily spooked by loud noises or big objects outside and can be scared of going to new places, so should be kept on leash.

Dalmi is house trained and will potty on a pee pad or go outside. He’s fine with sleeping in his own bed and being left alone and will entertain himself by playing with his toys, looking out the window, or chasing his own tail. He’s a little picky with food, but his favorite treat is mashed sweet potato. He does bark when someone is outside, but for the most part is quiet and not aggressive. Dalmi has not been tested with cats or kids, but will likely do well with kids when given time to open up. Dalmi would love to be in a home with another playful dog, but can also be the only dog in the home!

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Dalmi is patiently waiting!
