Meet Couque! Couque was rescued from the shelter before his time ran out. Thankfully rescuer were able to get him out and to the vet for a full check up. He had to get shaved due to his severely matted coat but he is feeling so much better! We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Couque is patiently waiting for a home to call his own!
Additional Notes:Energy level: 5/10—Very energetic when playing with toys but tires out quickly (around 10 minutes). • Very intelligent—Learns quickly with just a few repetitions. • Not destructive—However, he has a habit of collecting socks, laundry, and shoes and bringing them to his bed. • Good with baths—Remains calm during bathing, drying, and even dental cleaning and ear cleaning. • No car sickness—Stays comfortable in a car seat. • Adapts well to new environments—Plays well and socializes happily in a dog daycare setting. • Affectionate but not overly clingy—Likes to quietly rest his head on a person’s lap or gently tap their hand with his paw for attention. • A well-mannered and loving dog who will bring joy to his forever family.
