Meet Cookie! Cookie is an adorable 7 months old Jindo/Collie mix. He is a cutie pie who loves people! When he sees you, he will greet you with tail wagging and then immediately flip onto his back for belly rubs. He is also one smart cookie 😉 (pun intended). He is a quick learner – in just the few days that his foster home had him, he’s already learned a couple commands as well as how to use stairs. He will whine when he is scared but is getting over his fears quickly with lots of patience and reassurance. He recently had his first car ride and although he whined initially, he settled down after a few minutes and was calm for the rest of the trip. He loves following his foster sister around and has learned many new things from her. Because of this, we think he would do well in a house with another dog but it’s not necessary. He loves food and is treat motivated!

The ideal home for Cookie is one where someone can be at home initially to keep him company as he adapts to his new environment. He likes to use the bathroom on grassy/green areas so it would be ideal to have something like that accessible near the home. He is still a puppy so he loves to be loved. He needs someone who is patient and will help him overcome his fears as he tries all the new things that come with being a dog. He is a happy boy and will be sure to bring a smile to anyone he meets! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Cookie is patiently waiting!
