Meet Cindie! ? Cindie is a sweet, loyal, super gentle, and cuddly, 1.5 year old Formosan Mountain Dog mix. She is full grown and weighs 26 lbs. Cindie is housebroken and a non-barker.

Cindie’s hobbies include exploring on her daily walks. She will need daily exercise of at least 30 -45 minutes. She loves playing tag with her foster parents, training with treats, and napping by her foster mom’s side while she works. Cindie is friendly and enjoys playing with dogs. She is an absolute love bug, loves cuddles and following her humans around. Always greeting them with nose boops and wagging tail. But at the same time, she’s very independent and likes her space. Cindie is super smart and easily picks up on voice and tone cues. She is food motivated, and makes the cutest puppy face, but understands no. She responds to her name and has mastered come, sit as well as no.

Because of her rough start in life, Cindie is skittish around loud noises and sudden movements. She takes time to warm up to strangers, but with patience, space, and lots of encouragement and a proper feeding schedule she has opened up to reveal a very sweet personality. Cindie doesn’t like to be left in the crate, is comfortable sleeping in her dog bed and cozy blanket.

Due to her timid nature, a dog savvy home or a home with older kids is ideal for her. Cindie would do great in a home with another dog of similar temperament. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Cindie is patiently waiting!
