This behavior might be a leftover from her days in the puppy mill, where she had to make the most of what little food she had.

Meet our resilient little survivor, Cherry, a 6 year old teacup-sized Maltese! Cherry was from a massive puppy mill in South Korea where over 1400 was rescued. She was forced into a life of breeding, enduring even a C-Section on her petite body. She is a gentle, loving soul who adores being cuddled. This little cutie absolutely loves being around people all the time and you can see the joy in her eyes when she is with you. Cherry would thrive in a home with a loving family that can provide plenty of affection and cuddles. Most importantly, patience and understanding from their owners would help her heal and truly experience the happiness she deserves. Cherry is patiently waiting for her forever home!
