Meet Cassie! Cassie is an adorable 7 month old Jindo mix. She is sweet and friendly to everyone she meets! She can be cautious at first with new comers but warms up quickly when people give her some space or lots of treats! Cassie is good with other dogs and in her crate. She is currently learning leash training. She will definitely need someone who is patient with her while she works through the process of walking on a leash so if you are looking for a dog that will run with you right away or go on hikes she won’t be your girl.  Because of her fear of the leash and fast movement from people she doesn’t know she would not be good in an apartment. She needs a home with a yard where she can go outside to potty without being tethered to something or have to signal and go through elevators just to go potty.

Cassie has been fostered with a family full of boys/ kids/ men and she did well with all of them. In fact, her favorite person in the house is the husband who is a sucker for giving her belly rubs and back scratches! Cassie is a quirky girl. When she feels comfortable with you she will play with her toys or jump up on her people to give them kisses or high fives.

Cassie is pretty quiet for a dog. She has barked only once since being in her fosters home and that was to alert the family someone was in the backyard she wasn’t expecting. Otherwise she is super quiet. She can be a little mouthy and likes to play using her teeth. So she will need some training in that sense so we suggest a family with older kids who understand she isn’t trying to bite them but just trying to play.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Cassie is patiently waiting!
