Meet Candy! Candy is an adorable 2 year old Jindo mix. Candy is a sweet girl but can be shy at first when meeting new people. With some time and patience, she opens up and shows her affectionate side. Candy is ok with other dogs, but gets scared when rambunctious dogs run right up to her face to play. When faced in this situation, she will try to avoid them and bark if she feels cornered.

Candy loves to play with her foster parents and can get very energetic! She prefers to play with people over dog toys, she doesn’t seem to know what toys are yet. She knows commands like sit and wait and like to sleep in bed with her foster parents. Candy does very well with grooming but hates the blow dryer.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. A home that is patient with Candy and willing to slowly show her that the world is not a scary place. Candy is patiently waiting!
