Meet Bongsik aka Choco (pie)! Bonsik is an adorable 2 year old Jindo mix. A year ago, firefighter requested shelter officers to take a stray dog to a training facility that dog was Bongsik. He was then moved into a foster home. Bongsik can be shy at first when meeting new people, but with time he quickly opens up. Once opened up, he loves his people. He gets along great with people and other dogs.
Bongsik is a super mellow couch potato. He is a human magnet and a pure snuggle bug. He’s easy to train and is treat-motivated. His favorite is Nori for sushi. He’s always excited to go outside and meet other dogs. Some of his odd habits are sighing, licking, and farting really loudly. He has a slight prey drive (likes chasing squirrel). He loves to be pet and will snuggle your arm for more. He walks well on leash and loves to go outside. He is treat motivated and an overall joy to be around!
He is perfect for all types of homes and does well with all other dogs and humans. You may find him shy at first but after a couple of days and lots of TLC, he won’t ever leave your side. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Bongsik is patiently waiting!
