Betty

Meet Betty! In October 2019 Betty and her sibling, Bingo, were locked up in a dormitory bathroom by foreign workers in Taiwan. Many stray dogs had recently been captured and killed by them to be consumed as meat. The crying of Betty and Bingo attracted the attention of nearby residents; they went online to ask for help. With a policeman’s assistance, the rescuer got the pups out and sent them to the vet for physical checks. They were placed in foster care after the medical treatment for their skin issues.
Betty is a very sweet girl. She is shy and will not take initiative to get close to strangers. However, she is not aggressive and will take treats from a person’s hand. After getting to know you, she will become very affectionate afterwards. Betty is almost 100% housebroken with only a little accident once in a while. She likes car rides and loves to play in the water. With patience and love, she can be a great companion dog. Betty is looking for a loving home to call her own. Betty is patiently waiting!
