Meet Bens! Bens is an adorable 3 year old Bichon Frise. He was rescued from a very bad puppy mill in Korea where he was kept in a crate. There were other Bichon friends that he was rescued with.

Bens is a very curious and lovely boy. Although he needs some time to open up his mind and to trust someone. He is not food motivated, but will eventually eat treats when you put it near him. Ben likes to play with toys every now and then. He follows his foster everywhere around the house, but will shy away when being pet until he opened up and trust his people.

Bens would be great for homes with relaxing environment that gives his own space when he needs to. Someone who can be patient for him to open up his mind would be great. He will probably work best with someone who will not leave him alone for long periods of time as he has separation anxiety. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Bens is patiently waiting!
