Meet Benny! Benny is an amazing well tempered and low energy dog. Benny sleeps most of the day! He is also a velcro dog and sleeps at his foster’s foot if he is working from home. Benny does enjoy going on walks and walks very well on a leash with minimal pulling, unless he sees a squirrel or another dog. He loves playing with other dogs and is very friendly.
Sometimes silly mode sets in and he will think his tail is a squirrel and start chasing himself in circles. He likes being groomed and loves snuggles. He will bury his head into your nearest body part when you hug him.
He also loves treats and will do anything for you to get a treat. So far he has learned to “Sit, Stay, Come, Shake” . We are confident he will continue to learn more commands if you continue to work with him.
He seems quite adaptable and will do well in any type of setting. Just give him hugs, belly rubs and treats and he will Love you forever. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Benny is patiently waiting!
