Meet Bennett! Bennett is an incredibly sweet, mini Jindo mix. Bennett was rescued in Korea and is estimated to be 1 year old, despite still looking like a baby pup. She spent extended time in a shelter, followed by a foster family with cats. Her rescuers say she looks just like an arctic fox!

Bennett is a quiet, gentle (almost cat-like) dog. While she is known to be friendly with dogs and cats, she is quite fearful/skittish around people and will need time & patience to come out of her shell. When she is brave enough to interact with her humans, she’ll reveal her gentle, playful side and will show her affection with a few licks of your hand. She rarely barks and seems quite tolerant of city noise. She would likely do best in a home that will be extremely patient with her fearfulness, allowing her decompress slowly.

Since she is people-shy, Bennett is unfamiliar with walking on leash, and will need leash training from scratch. She is mostly potty-pad trained and likes to keep herself clean, so should pick up housebreaking well.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Bennett is patiently waiting!
