Meet Benji (aka Mochi)! Benji is an adorable 1 year old Bichon Frise ! He was rescued from a puppy mill where he was kept for breeding. Benji is a friendly, calm dog who is good with people and other dogs! He is working on walking on leash, but has improved a lot since going into his foster home. Benji can even be a good jogging partner!

He likes to zoom around the house when he is happy and collects his toys on the rug  to play with them. Benji also loves to go for walks and sniff around. He follows his foster around the house most of the time. When they’re busy or away from home, he stays in his playpen in the living room so he can watch everybody.

The ideal home for Benji would be a home who would not leave Benji alone for long periods of time. He will do fine in a home with children or seniors. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Benji is patiently waiting!

Benji’s daily routine in his current foster home:
7am potty time and breakfast
10:30am morning walk
2-3pm afternoon walk and playtime
5pm dinner
6pm evening walk and playtime
9pm potty walk before bedtime
