Meet Bear! Bear was kept by an old lady who is over 80 years old and isn’t good in health. The lady asked a rescuer for help to find a new home for Bear. She’s worried about Bear’s arrangement when she moves into a nursing home. Thankfully the rescuer took Bear in and found a foster home for her. Although she has been in a home with a elderly owner due to her adjustment period she would ideally be best in a home that can handle her on leash. Bear is very shy and timid when she is in a new environment and can take some time to adjust however once adjusted she is a happy and mellow girl! She’s good with dogs, cats and kids. Her temperament overall is solid but she will need a savvy handler and ideally a home with another dog to help show her the way. Bear can be skittish of new things but has come a long way and LOVES being with her people and sunbathing in the yard. Bear would be ideal and most comfortable in a home with a yard. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Bear is patiently waiting!
