Meet Basil (aka Bandam)! Basil is an adorable 3 year old Chihuahua. This little guy is a very sweet and playful pup! He is a people dog and prefers people over hanging out with dogs. He gets along with other dogs, but doesn’t show much interest in play. He has not met kids yet, so we recommend children 13 and over due to his small size. He loves to be pet, but doesn’t like his paws being touched much.
Basil is his foster mom’s little shadow. He likes to follow her wherever she goes, his foster mom calls him her cute stalker. He has a habit of bringing shoes to his area, but never chews on them. He also sometimes like to dig into trash bags, so his new home will need to make sure all trash bags and bins are securely placed somewhere he can’t get into. He has slight resource guarding with food and other dogs, he will let out a growl when other dogs approach his food.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Basilis patiently waiting!
